Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I install the anti-slip tape correctly?

Clean and dry the surface completely. Cut the tape to the required length, round off all four corners, then peel off the release film and apply the tape to the surface.

    To secure the bond:

• You can press into firm contact with surface using a rubber hand roller by starting in middle and rolling out toward edges, or

Re-cover the grit surface with the removed release film, then use a flat scraper to firmly press in one direction.

This helps eliminate air bubbles and ensures strong adhesion between the tape and the surface.

Can this tape be used outdoors?

Yes. The tape is waterproof, weather-resistant, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor surfaces.

How long will the tape last after application?

With proper installation on clean, dry surfaces, it is designed to last over 5 years under normal use conditions, withstanding water, oil, and light foot traffic.

Will it damage the surface when removed?

Generally no. It removes cleanly from most hard surfaces. Gently heat the tape (e.g. with a hairdryer) to soften the adhesive for easier removal if needed, but we recommend testing on a small area first, especially for delicate finishes.

Can I cut the tape to a different size?

Yes. You can cut the tape into the needed lengths and round all four corners to prevent peeling and improve durability.

Is the surface rough? Can it be used in barefoot areas?

The surface is coarse and abrasive for strong anti-slip performance. It’s not recommended for barefoot use.

What surfaces does it stick to best?

Ensure the surface is hard, smooth, dry, and free of dust, oil, or debris. Avoid porous, uneven, or wet surfaces during installation.

Can I use it in wet areas like bathrooms?

Yes, but only if applied to a completely dry surface. Once installed, the tape is water- and oil-resistant.

What is the purpose of the reflective strip?

The reflective strip improves visibility under light, especially in low-light environments, making stairs and walkways safer.

Is the reflective strip glow-in-the-dark?

No. The strip is reflective under light but does not glow in total darkness without a light source.
