Watch Before Installation

Why watch before you install?

  • Ensure proper installation for maximum safety
  • Get the best performance and long-lasting results
  • Avoid common mistakes and save time

Install in 4 Simple Steps

1

Clean & Prep

Wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.

2

Spot Test

Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm surface compatibility.

3

Measure & Cut

Cut to length with sharp scissors. Round the corners to prevent edge lifting.

4

Apply & Bond

Peel the release film and apply. Place the film over the grit, then press firmly with a scraper. Allow 24h to cure.

Important Precautions

  • Temp Control: Apply only when surface is at least 10°C (50°F). Pre-warm if cold.
  • Surfaces: Avoid raw wood, porous concrete, or submerged areas. Prime/seal first.
  • Removal: Heat with a hair dryer, then peel slowly to minimize adhesive residue.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.What surfaces does it work on?

Concrete, metal, tile, sealed wood, glass, and fiber cement work best. See the Surface Guide above for details.

2.Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. Both the reflective and glow-in-the-dark stripes are designed for indoor and outdoor use, including hazard zones, emergency exits, and outdoor walkways.

3.How long will it last?

Lifespan depends on traffic and conditions, typically 12-24 months in normal use. Both visibility stripes maintain their function throughout normal product life. Inspect periodically and replace when worn.

4.Can it get wet?

Yes, the tape is water-resistant once installed. Both stripes function in wet conditions. Make sure the surface is fully dry before applying.

5.How do I remove the tape?

Warm with a hair dryer, peel slowly at a low angle, then clean any residue with adhesive remover.

6.How does S610RG provide 24/7 visibility?

S610RG combines two visibility technologies in one product: a high-reflection stripe that returns light from headlights and flashlights (active visibility), and a photoluminescent stripe that charges with ambient light and glows in darkness (passive visibility). Together they ensure the tape remains visible across daytime, low-light, and complete darkness — ideal for hazard zones, emergency exits, and 24-hour operations.
