Watch Before Installation
Why watch before you install?
- Ensure proper installation for maximum safety
- Get the best performance and long-lasting results
- Avoid common mistakes and save time
Install in 4 Simple Steps
Clean & Prep
Wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.
Spot Test
Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm surface compatibility.
Measure & Cut
Cut to length with sharp scissors. Round the corners to prevent edge lifting.
Apply & Bond
Peel the release film and apply. Place the film over the grit, then press firmly with a scraper. Allow 24h to cure.
Important Precautions
-
Temp Control: Apply only when surface is at least 10°C (50°F). Pre-warm if cold.
-
Surfaces: Avoid raw wood, porous concrete, or submerged areas. Prime/seal first.
-
Removal: Heat with a hair dryer, then peel slowly to minimize adhesive residue.
Surface Guide

Why It Works
Max Grip
Industrial-grade aggressive surface delivers superior traction even under heavy loads.
Multi-Layer Build
Reinforced solid core resists scuffs, tears, and impact damage in demanding environments.
Waterproof
Weatherproof construction stands up to rain, washdowns, and outdoor exposure.
Heavy-Duty Adhesive
Industrial-strength adhesive engineered for the toughest applications.
- Clean regularly with mild soap and water.
- Avoid harsh chemicals and solvents.
- Inspect periodically and replace if worn.
- Replace promptly if hazard warning stripes become heavily scuffed — high-visibility marking is the primary safety function.
- Warm the tape with a heat gun or hair dryer.
- Peel back slowly at a low angle.
- Remove any residue with adhesive remover.
- Test on a small area first.
Frequently Asked Questions
1.What surfaces does it work on?
Concrete, metal, tile, sealed wood, glass, and fiber cement work best. See the Surface Guide above for details.
2.Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The reinforced PET backing and weatherproof adhesive are built for outdoor industrial applications, including loading docks, ramps, and outdoor walkways.
3.How long will it last?
Lifespan depends on traffic load and conditions. In normal use, S680 typically outlasts standard residential-grade tapes. Inspect periodically and replace when warning stripes are heavily worn.
4.Can it handle vehicle or forklift traffic?
S680 is rated for pedestrian use and light equipment traffic. For continuous direct vehicle wheel traffic (forklifts, carts), use S680 as a hazard warning marker visible at distance, rather than a continuous traffic surface. Heavy direct vehicle wheel traffic shortens the lifespan of any anti-slip tape.
5.How do I remove the tape?
Warm with a hair dryer, peel slowly at a low angle, then clean any residue with adhesive remover.
6.How is S680 different from standard anti-slip tape?
S680 uses a reinforced multi-layer construction designed for heavy-duty industrial use. The yellow and black hazard warning stripe provides high-visibility marking, while the scuff-proof base resists tears, abrasion, and moisture better than standard residential-grade tapes. Ideal for factory floors, loading docks, machine bases, and outdoor industrial walkways.
